A Note To My Father

I recently wrote a note to my mother  for Mother's Day, so I thought i'd do the same for Fathers Day. Since being a baby, I have always been a Daddy's Girl. My dad has always been my best friend, and I've told him everything from a young age. No matter what, he will always be the most important man in my life.

In today's society, I feel extremely fortunate to have two parents who have remained married for over 20 years, that alone is very inspirational to me, and something I aspire to have in the future. My parents have taught me very valuable lessons, and my father has always played a huge role in my life. He is the first person I call if something goes wrong, and the first person I call if something goes well.

To Dad,

Thank you for being my best friend, throughout some horrific moments in my life, I've always had you stood by my side, wiping my tears and telling me to keep positive. No matter how anxious I feel, you're always trying to keep me seeing the positive side. Thank you for the following:

- Holding my hand when i'm scared.
- Always making me laugh when i'm in times of need.
- Teaching me that despite being a woman, I can do anything.
- To not let anyone stop me achieving my goals.
- The value of hard work, and well earned money.
- To always be myself.
- For always reading my blog posts.
- For never letting me quit no matter how much I want to.

You are an inspiration to me and I will always be thankful for your support!

I love ya pappa bear!

  1. Thank you Abi, I will always be there for you even if you don't want me to be sometime's, you have come a long way and have had many a battle along the way, but there will still be battles for you to go through some you will win, some you won't, but you will live your life as you see it. You also know I am only a phone call away when you need me for a chat or to scream at as everything has gone belly up. I am there for you.
