So after doing a ton of beauty product shopping, what else can I do apart from a haul to show you guys?
1) Cocoa Butter Vaseline
Who can live without a Vaseline handy lets be honest? I always have a Vaseline to close to hand. It is such a must have product that always comes in handy. Not the most exciting products to buy, but I feel like it is a necessity!! And I couldn't resist buying Cocoa Butter just because it smells amazing!
2) Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
So every beauty blogger and their dog have been raving about this product. Just because everyone has been going on about it I thought I would try it. It was on offer in Boots for I think about £2.50. So far so good. I'm incorporating it into my skincare routine and for my skin I'm happy with it. But for my eyes, it just doesn't budge waterproof mascara and eyeliner - now I know it is a 'water' but I thought it would have been able to. Apart from that issue, I am happy with it.
3) Real Techniques Powder Brush
Now, I am quite a newbie to the whole 'makeup' brush scene and I can say its transformed my whole makeup look. My makeup is now so much more flawless and is applied to much better. So I had to get this powder brush. I did have a powder brush already, but it was a cheap one that was quite small and the bristles irritated my skin. I am in love with this brush, it applies my powder so smoothly and is so soft.
4) Seventeen Lasting Fix Nail Colour in Mint Choc Chip
I am in love with this colour. Its bang on trend and the colour comes out exactly how it looks on the bottle! I'm not a nail varnish snob in the slightest, and will try any brand. This nail varnish has lovely coverage and lasts a fair time. Impressed!
5) Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz
I absolutely love Boots Botanics brand. Its all organic so really beneficial for the skin. Since I've switched from Nivea Skin Care products to Botanics I have seen such a difference in my skin. I still get the odd spot around the time of the month, but other than that, it is sooooo much clearer. This is the first time I've used a toning spray, I have a normal toner but I thought a spray would be refreshing and quick for the mornings. And wow, it is just that, it refreshes my face so much and it smells beautiful!
6) Botanics Cleansing Toner All Bright
This is the regular toner I use. This is the second bottle I've had since buying it and I cannot fault it. I used mainly all Botanics for my skin care routine now (except eye makeup remover when I used Nivea). I feel like using them all together really helps. After I've taken my makeup this makes my skin feel so tight and refreshed and removes all the last traces of makeup.
7) Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless Desinvolte
This product has been so raved about recently and I can really see why. It goes on so smoothly and the colour is so pigmented. I absolutely love dark lipsticks and this one is such a dreamy colour! This is my new go to lip product.
8) Maybelline The Mega Plush Volume Express
Now, I usually stick to The Falsies as my go to mascara, but whilst in Boots the other day, I felt like switching it up. I haven't heard anything about this mascara, but I absolutely love it! It makes my lashes looks so long and thick and that is impressive coming from someone with the worst eyelashes ever. I would recommend this to everybody.
9) Botanics Cleansing Foam Wash All Bright
This is the main make up remover I use. It takes all my makeup off so fast and makes my skin feel so clean. Honestly, switching from Nivea to Boots Botanics was such a good move and my skin is seriously thanking me for it.
10) Batise Dry Shampoo
A girls best friend! Whoever created dry shampoo is an absolute genius, there is so many different scents and this is definitely my favourite! If there is anyone reading this that has never used dry shampoo then you need to go and buy some immediately!
11) Rimmel Scandaleyes
This is the first gel eyeliner I've ever used, I'm more of an eyeliner pen girl. So far I think that the gel is really good, it lasts all day but it does smudge a little which is annoying. The only thing I really dislike about this product is the brush that came with it. The brush before having gel on was really sharp and hurt my eyes when I applied it. And I'm not sure if I am meant to clean the gel off after use, but I have done both (cleaned it off and left it on) and both are still really painful. If anyone knows any tips to help please send them my way because applying eyeliner everyday is painful!
I picked these four nail varnishes up when I went on holiday to Turkey in a store called Flormar. How could I resist going into this lovely makeup store and the nail varnish hoarder I am definitely couldn't resist these matte and textured varnishes!
Here is the website link in case anyone wants to check it out because they really do have some lovely products http://www.flormar.com/
1) Matte Nail Varnish in Bright Pink
I think this is such a lovely colour, I am yet to use it because I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish in work and I have been working a lot recently. The colour caught my eye straight away because of how neon it is and I think this would go really well with a lush tan in the summer.
2) Matte Nail Varnish in Extreme Grape
I am a lover in dark nail varnish so this colour is literally a dream for me! I think this will be a really nice autumn colour because it isn't too dark! Once again I am yet to try this one out because of work.
3) Matte Nail Varnish in Stylish Cyan
This nail varnish I have actually used and I love it, its such a pretty colour and the matte give it such an edgy look about it! This will defiantly be a popular summer colour with me because it just makes my nails pop!
4) Black Dot BD04 Nail Varnish
I have seen a few of textured nail varnishes similar to this on the market but never picked one up. The pastel blue really caught my eye and I think the black dots give such a lovely effect. I haven't tried this one out yet and I think the only thing I will dislike about it, is getting the dots off. Similar to glitter I think it will be quite difficult!
